The Stone Barn is a beautiful two-storey barn where the upstairs room seats up to 80, and there is a stone-walled reception room downstairs, leading out to a patio and garden. We have a 10m by 4m marquee which can be put up alongside the downstairs, making an extra room for a bar and casual seating. Larger marquees can also be put up here too if you wish. The Green Barn is a former agricultural tin-roofed barn with a sunroom style extension which has created a large space for the bar, casual seating, buffet tables, photo booths or whatever you want to have. The barn itself seats up to around 130/140 and has a wooden floor throughout most of it, great for dancing. There are pretty grounds, wonderful old trees, a pond, lake, stone walls and a Georgian house which all make fantastic photo locations. The venue is yours from the day before to decorate, and you can bring your own drinks if you wish, or hire one of our recommended bar suppliers. With a great choice of outside caterers, decorators, musicians etc on our suppliers list, the venue can be adapted to suit any style and taste. It is a great place for a hog roast or barbecue, with outdoor areas beside both barns. The gardens are licensed for ceremonies, and we have white wooden chairs which are ideal. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and love couples who want to create something different, and work with you to bring your dreams to reality. Although we don't have accommodation, we have got a camping area, and with beautiful bell tents from a local supplier, you and your guests can spend your wedding night here and wake up to the wonderful view of the fishing lake below. We include tables and chairs with the hire of the venue, and have a choice of round or 6ft trestles, or our lovely old rustic trestle tables, ideal for the Green Barn, with the white chairs. We also have blue banqueting chairs which can be covered.
