From its hilltop setting in Greenwich Park, the Royal Observatory commands breath-taking views of Canary Wharf and the City of London.
Flamsteed House is the original Observatory building, designed by Sir Christopher Wren in 1675 to house the Astronomers Royal. At its heart is the magnificent Octagon Room, the reception room of the Astronomer Royals for hundreds of years. It is truly amazing to dine at the home of time. Events can be enhanced by private tours, telescope viewings as well as planetarium shows.
