Hi, I have been specialising in professional wedding, portrait and commercial photography since 2006. I predominantly cover Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and London, but travel throughout the UK and indeed anywhere in the world where my clients require me to go.
I was born and grew up in the heart of the New Forest in Hampshire. I have lived in Yorkshire and Northamptonshire but now I live a stone’s throw from Wrest Park in the lovely village of Silsoe in Bedfordshire.
Believe it or not, a career in photography was not my childhood ambition. I first followed my heart and my father’s footsteps as a professional motorcycle rider for many years, before moving into engineering. However, I always had a love of photography and enjoyed it passionately as a hobby from a young age.
My professional photography work which won me competitions, started with sports and wildlife; being the official photographer for both a NASCAR and a Speedway team and also covering Motocross and other sporting events. You have to think quick and be quick on your feet to capture the special moments in these sports fast paced sports.
I am always looking for the best natural light or to the make the best natural looking artificial light, to capture a moment and the emotions during a wedding, the soul of a portrait sitter, the purity and innocence of newborns.
