We are a husband and wife team – Andrew & Finola Britton. We started Limelight Films in 2012 filming a wedding for a friend and since then the business has grown and developed more rapidly than we could have ever predicted! The demand has been unbelievable and the only downside is having to disappoint so many couples as we can only take on a limited number of weddings every year. The reason for this being due to the number of hours needed to produce each wedding film to the best of our abilities. Beyond the many hours filmed on-location, it is not unusual for us to spend 60+ hours editing each wedding film!
Usually we both film on the day and as a result of the huge amount of time we spend together we have developed an instinctive understanding of how each other works and what our roles are. We feel this understanding of each other really helps to give us an edge on the day. We pay close attention to the details, emotions & personality of your day; we focus on creativity; and make sure that there is always consistent high quality.
For the past 4 years we have been based and working in Cyprus filming a huge variety of weddings from small intimate beach weddings, comprising of not much more than ten people, to huge weddings covering multiple days with the guest list sometimes exceeding 1000 people! We love all types of weddings and that variation is what makes it so exciting for us!
With our 2017 calendar fully booked in Cyprus we made a big decision to relocate to offer our Wedding videography in the UK from 2018 onwards. Partly for personal reasons and partly because we really want to try our hand at something different and film some of the beautiful weddings and scenery in the UK!
Since our first wedding, with every film we make we have continually tried to improve upon the last. We won’t settle and feel there is so much more we can do in our strive to make Limelight Films the leading wedding videography company in Cyprus and the UK.
We are both so excited to see what 2018 has in store for us and we really look forward to meeting all the lovely couples who have chosen us to be a part of their big day!
