Sparth House has stood in central Lancashire since 1740 and is a private family owned and run Georgian Manor house that boasts 16 individually styled bedrooms on 3 acres of beautiful grounds. We pride ourselves in creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, that ensures that all our guests feel like they are coming home. Weddings We love to design unique and creative weddings that are perfectly tailored to the happy couple. Our wedding team can help from the initial ideas through to execution. Just give us an inkling of an idea and see what we can do with it! Simple elegance is the only way to describe our Woodlands suite. The stunning wooden floor and ornate gold mirror is the perfect blank canvas to create the ultimate space to say ‘I do!’ Confess your love and say your vows in front of your nearest and dearest loved ones. If you are looking for a more intimate ceremony, we have the Regency and the restaurant for smaller but just as special ceremonies. Imagine having the entire Sparth House for your big day to do whatever you choose with! Well within reason, of course! We don't charge thousands for an exclusivity fee or venue hire, we just ask that all our bedrooms are booked and paid for and that's it. You and your guests will have the house to yourselves, with extra rooms to utilise for whiskey rooms and gin bars. The Regency has been turned into a Beer Pong Championship arena and the restaurant is surprisingly perfect to be used as a child's disco. The options are endless. Finally finish your wedding with breakfast all together the next morning with your nearest and dearest. Perfect. Corporate Events Whether it’s a small boardroom meeting or a presentation for up to 100, we can provide the room or suite that’s right for you. We pride ourselves on meeting the individual needs of the conference organisers. All our conference and meeting rooms have free wireless internet facilities. Upon request we can arrange visual aids and equipment to your requirements. Sparth House is in an ideal location being only 5 minutes from junction 7 on the M65 motorway. We are located less than 40 minutes from Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool airports. Our nearest train station, Accrington, is a five minutes taxi journey away. Free parking for up to 50 cars is available at the hotel. Private Dining Sparth House has a long tradition of hosting various special occasions. So if you are looking for that special event the Sparth House is the perfect venue. We can cater for any event from an intimate dinner for 2 to 110 guests.
