This beautiful Grade I building dating back to the 13th century will provide the most perfect setting for your wedding, civil partnership, retaking marriage vows, private functions or corporate events. We believe you shouldn't have to share your Big Day with anyone but family and friends. Enjoy the freedom to make the day truly your own with exclusive use of the Castle and grounds. Inside the Castle, within the Great Hall with its panelling, roof beams and medieval windows, you can have the beauty and romance of times past but with modern comfortable facilities. Lympne Castle offers magic, fairytale, and romance, the chance to be kings and queens for the day and to follow in the footsteps of real monarchs who may once have walked these halls. The West Wing The West Drawing Room, whilst echoing the majesty of the mediaeval castle, belongs to a different era. It was added in Edwardian times when the famous architect Sir Robert Lorimer was commissioned to restore the castle, which was then near to ruin. As you enter the room your attention is immediately drawn to the view from the huge bow window overlooking the south east coast. Wood panelling and a stone fireplace lend the room an imposing yet welcoming atmosphere. This room is ideal for a civil wedding ceremony seating up to 85 guests. The Great Hall In the Great Hall with its part panelled walls, wooden roof beams and gothic arched windows you can imagine hearing the lively talk, clank of goblets and music of bygone feasts. This room is ideal for a larger civil wedding ceremony seating up to 120 guests and a wedding breakfast for up to 100. Corporate Hire If you have been looking for a venue to host a conference, presentation or product launch then look no further than Lympne Castle. Our main function room can accommodate up to 85 and with our local infrastructure links we can easily host visitors from London, France or even somewhere more local. Our own self-catering historic cottages are available and there is further accommodation available only two miles away in Hythe. For somewhere wonderfully different, and with far more character than standard hotel conference facilities, Lympne Castle will make your event stand out and stay memorable.
