Situated on the upper floor of the clubhouse, our recently refurbished main restaurant, Woodlands at Goring and Streatley, is fully air-conditioned and can seat up to 120 people. Situated 15 minutes drive from both the M4 and A34 we provide both a convenient and exclusive venue for your event or wedding reception at a very competitive price. The function suite has lots of natural light and space to accommodate both large and small groups and is flexbile in layout, which can be configured in a number of ways depending on the style of your function and the amount of guests attending. A dedicated bar in the suite means your guests will never have to wait for that favourite drink. We can provide food to suit all tastes, from buffets and canapes to a sumptuous sit down meal all prepared by our expert Head Chef, Michael Last. Whilst all of our food is locally sourced and home cooked, our menus are designed to cater for all tastes and are very reasonably priced. Our experienced in-house food and beverage team will provide you and your guests with a first class standard of service. We offer an extensive and carefully selected wine list comprising a range of wines from an independent wine-tasting expert. Our wine selection is designed to complement our cuisine. If you are looking for entertainment we have a great selection of entertainers for you to choose from including a DJ, Bands, or Comedians, or you can supply your own! We are flexible in our approach to pricing and our dedicated event organisers will work with you to come up with the best option to suit your needs and budget. Meetings & Conferences At Goring & Streatley Golf Club we offer a choice of rooms from our Woodlands Suite to the Streatley Suite, available for Business Meetings, Conferences, Product Launches, Training or Sales Meetings all complete with audio-visual aids and wi-fi. We provide free use of our projector and screen, water for the tables, widescreen TV, wi-fi, photocopying and printing facility on request, parking with ample spaces. We are located just 15 minutes from the M4 and A34, close to Reading, Oxford and Newbury. We are renowned for producing high quality, home made and locally sourced food. Our Head Chef can prepare everything, from Light Finger Buffets, Sandwich Platters to Formal Seated Meals. Our private fully stocked licensed bar offers a comprehensive selection of beers, wine and soft drinks. Our daily delegate rates and room hire charges are extremely competitive and our packages flexible. We will provide you with a comprehensive quotation based around bespoke requirements. Should any of your guests wish to play golf during the day we will provide this at a discounted rate. The upper floor has a flexible layout. We have a large open area which can be divided into three discreet rooms, and is flexible to your requirements. We can cater for up to 120 people in a variety of these flexible layouts and can provide private break-out rooms. We do not have a minimum number.
