From the decadence of the Gatsby Ballroom to the tranquility of the Hampshire Suite, our hotel resort has a choice of 5 contemporary suites, to accommodate parties big or small. Gatsby Ballroom Inspired by the art-deco theme of the 1925 F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, Great Gatsby, the light and airy first-floor Gatsby Ballroom, which has its own private terrace, can hold up to 300 people. Hampshire Suite The delightful Hampshire Suite offers panoramic view of the championship golf course and can be the backdrop to the wedding of your dreams. Ceremony: 90 Wedding Breakfast: 130 Reception: 200 Grand Ballroom The Grand Ballroom is the largest function suite at Old Thorns and can cater for up to 500 guests. It has its own gallery and an intimate garden area ideally suited for welcome drinks and group photos. Ceremony: 800 Wedding Breakfast: 500 Reception: 500 The Chapel Often described as ‘the hidden gem’ of Old Thorns, the Chapel is an intimate and unique setting for you and your fiancé to begin your forever. A bright and charming room, the Chapel’s rich wooden features bring love and warmth to your ceremony. This room photographs exquisitely and you are free to decorate it how you please, from petals and flowers to signs and lights. Ceremony: 150 Kenwood Suite If your civil ceremony is of a more intimate nature, the Kenwood room may be the ideal venue. What’s more we also have a choice of other function suites, to be able to offer a good variety of reception or ceremony options.
