The magnificent Banqueting Hall, where King James I knighted the loin of beef ‘Sir Loin’, is perfect for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. By day, the room enjoys natural light through four thousand panes of glass. By night, an open log fire and music from the Minstrels’ Gallery create a truly memorable experience. The Tudor Gardens are a photographer’s dream. Clipped yew trees lead to the ramparts, castellated walls, fountain and fairytale turret with commanding views across Lancashire, the Lake District and North Wales.
