Cardross is situated on the fringe of the Scottish Highlands and borders the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Just to the north is the Lake of Menteith, the only Lake in Scotland. Under an hour from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth, Cardross is conveniently situated whilst retaining its remote and unique feel.
Cardross is a mixed farming, forestry and sporting country estate dating back to the 16th Century and extending to approximately 4000 acres.
Cardross offers a blank canvas to create the perfect event be it corporate or personal, from an intimate ceremony of up to 80 guests in the house, to exclusive use of any area within Cardross’ ancient oak tree filled parkland.
We have the ideal space to locate a marquee / tepee or yurt which overlooks the house and lawn with views towards the Fintry Hills and Stirling. Guests are welcome to use the lawn for champagne and canapes prior to their reception.
We have five holiday cottages located on the estate that can be booked to accommodate wedding guests. We work with some of the best wedding and event providers in Scotland, who will help you put together a personalised, smooth running and beautiful event that will take advantage of the magnificent location.
