A unique venue on the edge of the Bristol channel where Exmoor meets the sea. Two halls, stage and bride's room and plenty of good accommodation within walking distance - Porlock has everything needed for a DIY reception on a budget.
Porlock Village Hall is situated at the western end of Porlock High Street, at the bottom of the famous hill, and opposite The Ship Inn.
The facility consists of two halls, meeting rooms, kitchen, bar area, baby changing and toilets. Each hall has an entrance, and they are joined by front and back corridors. The Large Hall has a stage with LED lights and some sound equipment, a hearing loop system and plenty of hooks for decorations.
The smaller hall has the kitchen and bar area, and has a picture hanging system for exhibitions and plenty of hooks for decorations. There is a large white blind in the small hall which can be used for films and slides.
