The Courtyard

Special Events at the Courtyard Restaurant Set in the heart of the Elveden Estate, the Elveden Courtyard offers a beautiful, private setting for special events and small weddings. This is a unique historic location, combining a beamed restaurant seating up to 70 people, with a large enclosed courtyard and available from 6.30pm. Our AA rosette restaurant boasts a team of experienced chefs creating delicious food using local and seasonal ingredients while our front of house team offers a highly professional yet friendly service style. The Elveden Courtyard is perfect space for celebrating a special occasion with family and friends. Weddings, Parties & Events in the Walled Garden For many years, we have hosted our own events in the walled garden, from the Big Onion food and music festival and Elveden Dog Day to staff parties and weddings. Now the venue is available to hire. Elveden Walled Garden dates back to Victorian times, enclosed by chalk and red brick walls and featuring a “secret garden” style entrance gate. The garden extends to approximately 2.5 acres, with a central wall dividing the space in half. It is a flexible space, ready for marquees of all sizes, camping, displays and more. Wedding Services The beautiful and historic Church of St Andrew and St Patrick is located immediately opposite the garden in Elveden village (less than a five minute walk or very short car ride) and may be available for your Church of England wedding service, a service of blessing or a thanksgiving service after a civil wedding.
