Welcome to The Stanton Manor, a country house hotel located at the gateway to the Cotswolds, just 20 minutes from Bath. Listed in the Domesday Book and steeped in history, the hotel was once owned by Elizabeth I’s Lord High Treasurer, Lord Burghley. It was rebuilt in 1840 but still features the original fireplace in the galleried hall. Weddings Weddings at The Stanton Manor make use of our permanent marquee, outdoor ceremony area and idyllic garden setting. The Woodland Suite can accommodate up to 80 guests for a ceremony and is also the late night party room with direct access to the bar and outdoor terrace and ample space for a dance, Food is very important at Stanton Manor, and with head chef Carla Jones using local ingredients to create a delicious meal, there is not a hint of boring wedding food in sight! The wedding breakfast is served in the fully heated garden marquee on vintage oval plates down the centre of the table to create the perfect wedding atmosphere. Private Dining The Stanton Manor is the perfect venue for your special event. We have an array of wonderful private dining rooms that can cater for parties of up to 80 in the main house or up to 150 in our permanent Garden Marquee. From the minute you enquire to the time the last guest leaves your event will be treated as the special occasion it deserves. Head Chef Carla Jones has created seasonal menus that range from delicious buffets to elaborate 5 course tasting menus. We can offer informal hog roasts and group afternoon tea parties.
