Number 47 is a beautiful and historic building in the heart of Norwich with its magnificent Georgian architecture. This magnificent building is Grade Two Listed and part of Norwich’s rich architectural heritage. It was originally built in the late 17th century by Mr Ruben Deaves and later sold to Horatio Bolingbrooke in 1848 the first Sheriff of Norwich. We cater for Weddings, Parties, Conferences & Training Days, Corporate Dinners, Examinations, Seminars, Exhibitions, Dinners, Special Celebrations and Wakes. Weddings: Number 47, Norwich is licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies and has four rooms available for your civil wedding ceremony. Number 47 Norwich has to be one of the most elegant and unique Wedding Licensed Venues in Norfolk. We can offer a wide choice of rooms for your celebration so whether it is an intimate ceremony or a grand celebration we are sure we can accommodate what you require; The Bishop Bowers Temple, the Le Strange Temple, the Garden Room, and the Mancroft Suite. Colour schemes, flowers, the wedding cake, photography, favours etc are all items we can plan or source for you. We also have a good size dance floor, stage, and fully staffed bar and provide a Meet & Greet person for your event. Parties & Wakes: We have various venue rooms available individually or you can hire the whole of house if you prefer. Conference & Training: We can accommodate everything from boardroom-style meetings to large corporate events. Rooms can be set up to your requirements. From theatre style to boardroom or banquet.
