At the International Antarctic Centre, we can provide a number of different venue options - you can hire a meeting room, celebrate your childs birthday, run a team building activity, hire a movie theatre or host your evening function in our Atrium. Don't forget theres Breakfast with the Penguins too! We have two conference rooms, both on our mezzanine floor. The Sir Ed Room offers views over our atrium area while the Tim Hobson Room has views out to the runway and Southern Alps. Plenty of natural light in both. There’s also free wi-fi, an interactive projector and whiteboard and other handy meeting tools. A on-site cafe also allows for full catering. Take a break from your meeting room with a Hagglund field trip, 4D movie or Penguin Feeding. The Atrium is a superb venue for everything from seated dinners to cocktail evenings, balls to product launches. An elegant dining space for up to 130 guests, the Atrium can also accommodate 250 guests for cocktail functions. To ensure your event is one of the coolest in town we can include full or partial access to a wide range of experiences, including the Hägglund Field Trip, Storm Dome experience (with optional ice bar), 4D Theatre and the Penguin Rescue.
