For over a century, the Emilio Questa Hut – perched at 2,388 meters beside Lake Portette, above the Valasco Valley in Italy’s Cuneo province – has been the ideal base for hiking in the heart of the Maritime Alps. Easily reachable with just a few hours’ walk, the Emilio Questa Hut welcomes you every year from June to September, whether for a short break or a longer stay. Relax in the café-restaurant on the ground floor with a quick snack or a traditional meal made with care.
