In 2014, after 15 years of running a boutique wedding dress studio in London, Ellie Lowe relocated to Gloucestershire, to launch her new bridal studio near Cheltenham. Overlooking rolling hills and a thousand acres of protected woodland, the studio is a serene haven for brides to relax, drink tea and plan their dress. Knowing where to start with dress design can be one of the hardest decisions for a bride, which is why Ellie offers a core collection for brides to try on and use as a kicking off point for the design process. Alterations can then be made and elements from different dresses can be interchanged. Of course, if you have something specific in mind, an entirely bespoke approach can also be taken. The dressmaking process is organic, relieving the pressure of having to make all the decisions in one go. Fittings are laid-back and collaborative, which offers an opportunity to experiment and ponder at a leisurely pace. You'll be guided honestly through every step, from the initial consultation all the way through to the final stitch. Ellie makes ​all her dresses by hand in the studio using exquisite fabrics, either new or vintage. This personal approach ensures no details are overlooked, making for a dress that not only fits perfectly and looks incredible but really celebrates who you are for your big day.
