Urban Winery Sydney is Australia’s first true urban winery and the beating heart of the A.Retief wine label.
Conveniently located in The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, The Urban Winery Sydney is a one of a kind, multifunctional space that includes a fully working open winery, event space, wine bar and cellar door.
The Urban Winery Sydney is best known for its intimate and relaxed feel, catering for groups of up to 250 guests standing and 180 seated. It is the only place in the city where you can entertain and dine with your guests amongst barrels producing our latest vintage. The A.Retief wine range is made from grapes sourced from cool climate southern NSW regions, including Tumbarumba, The Hilltops and the family’s biodynamic vineyard in Gundagai. The grapes are all trucked in entirely handcrafted by head winemaker Alex Retief on-site.
Being a working winery, epicurious visitors can discover and enjoy wine via blending masterclasses, tours, tutored tastings, long lunches, harvest grape stomping and exclusive private events.
There is a full commercial kitchen you can use with their partnered caterers, alternatively you can bring in your own – Urban Winery Sydney will ensure your every requirement is met.
