A unique and beautiful marquee wedding venue, Tracey Estate is a privately owned parkland estate. A little known gem nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside, part of the Blackdown Hills designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are just 25 minutes from Exeter, the same from Taunton and easily accessible from the A30, which is just off the M5. The grounds have recently undergone a programme of restoration to re-establish the beautiful gardens originally designed by Lucombe and Pince around 1830. We allow couples the exclusive hire of 25 acres of restored parkland from Friday to Sunday to allow for an enjoyable set up and clear up. The marque is situated on the large south-facing terrace, which commands outstanding views down to the river and across the Otter Valley. Surrounding the main venue site is 1.5 miles of paths through the historic arboretum and down to the beautifully restored Sunken Garden Look around the website and imagine how magical your wedding day might be. Tracey Estate and Parkland is ideally suited for couples who are looking to put together a unique day that best suits their character. You have complete control on the catering, the timing, the location of the celebrations and decorations. Tracey Estate is registered to host your wedding ceremony, and as a marquee venue, flexible enough to accommodate your own personal style and tastes. Your special day will be totally unique. With a number of picturesque settings, Tracey provides flexibility so you can tailor your day to suit your personality and wishlist. If you want to get married at Tracey the Pavilion in the sunken garden is registered to hold weddings and is a very atmospheric spot with the newly restored 12 foot fountain playing in the background. We also have a stretch tent you can hire in case of a spot of rain. We are happy to run a bar for you during the whole day, and if you wish, for you to supply the wine for the table and bubbly for toasts with no extra corkage charge. Alternatively you can supply all the drink at no extra cost. We have camping in a really pretty spot in the middle of our yew tree circle and there are bell tents that people can hire from us. For those who don’t want to camp there is lots of other accommodation around Honiton.
