Weddings Escot House is an idyllic Devon wedding venue; impressive, steeped in history and with that certain touch of class. What makes us different is our relaxed attitude; you will love having all the splendour with none of the fuss for an affordable price. Our rooms are generously proportioned, light and friendly – there’s simply nothing stuffy about Escot. Escot House is licensed for civil ceremonies. We will gladly host small, intimate weddings, and for larger, more lavish weddings we can seat up to 120 in the house itself, or 180 if we use a marquee. Evening receptions are also held in the house, making it effortless for your celebrations to continue into the night as more guests arrive. Conferences Set in 1200 acres of tranquil parkland, Escot House is the perfect Devon venue for conferences, training seminars and other corporate events. Easily accessed from the A30 and only a short drive from Exeter and the M5, the venue offers superb facilities, plentiful free parking and delicious in-house catering, all at a surprising affordable rate. Escot House has a pleasingly welcoming atmosphere, and delegates will immediately feel relaxed and ready to get to work. Our three large conference rooms all benefit from natural light, and two open on to the terrace and lawns, just right for sunny days and a breath of fresh air. Rooms can be set up to your ideal specification: boardroom, theatre, classroom or U-shape to suit your needs. We can provide all the equipment you need, including screens, projectors and flipcharts.
