For many years, Puzzling World has been at the forefront of Wanaka tourism, welcoming over 4 million customers through its doors since opening in 1973.
This large number of people and the space required to cater for such numbers means Puzzling World enjoys large open areas ideal for large group bookings and hosting events.

With seating for over 120 people in the Puzzle Centre, 100 people in the courtyard and 2 acres of rolling lawn, our location rates as second to none in terms of group facilities.
Our newest room, The Sculptillusion Gallery offers a superb large indoor space to host an evening function whilst surrounded by incredible pieces from some of NZ’s best sculptors.
Team Building (Day): Whether it be an ‘Amaze-ing Race’ through our Great Maze, testing the crew on their puzzling prowess, or taking a guided tour through our Illusion Rooms we have the perfect mix of activities requiring teamwork, exercise, task setting and memory games to help make a team perform.
Birthday Parties (Day): Kids always have a great time here (as well as big kids at heart!) so we welcome kids parties and offer a large reserved booth in our Puzzle Centre and special rates on admission and kids snack packs. Contact us to discuss how we can make your child’s day extra special!
