Hinwick House was built in 1701 as a replica of the original Buckingham Palace. Sensitively restored to its former glory, the house exudes charm, comfort and elegance. The current owners have scoured the world to return original pieces to the house but always with supreme comfort in mind to ensure you have a memorable stay.

Relax in the library or party in the cocktail bar, have a wonderful dinner in the magnificent dining room or hold a special occasion or wedding in the Great Hall, it's all just at your fingertips and perfect for allowing your guests to relax and enjoy. The 14 bedroom house sprawls over an expansive three levels and has been meticulously renovated and restored creating stunning and timeless interiors. Everything has been designed for those who are looking for the very best, a stay here will not disappoint in delivering a truly exclusive experience.

The views in all directions are wonderful, with deer grazing in the parkland that surrounds the house. Explore the wonderful gardens and grounds - play croquet on the lawn and imagine yourself in the Edwardian era. In addition to the main house, there are two cottages, stables, two ornamental lakes, deer park, magnificent clock tower, and a lovely period walled garden which completes the scene, giving you space for all your guests to wander, bike, play or just sit back and soak in this stunning country house.

The 38 acre estate is nestled on the edge of the pretty village of Hinwick, on the Bedfordshire/Northamptonshire border and only 50 minutes travel by train from central London.

We are an exclusive use venue so you would have the house and entire 38-acre estate to yourselves for your wedding, party or event and could even decide to make a weekend of it and stay the night before and night after or longer, with a select group of your friends and family. The house and cottages on the estate can accommodate up to 36 (+8) guests in luxurious bedrooms and suites.

If you are organising a spectacular wedding, we have a number of alternatives of where to hold a ceremony/blessing or host a reception at Hinwick House. We have a suite of elegant formal reception rooms in which to hold an intimate civil wedding or drinks reception and a Great hall which is also perfect for a civil ceremony (90 guests), wedding breakfast or party for up to 80 guests.

To accommodate larger numbers of guests (100 - 200), we also have three different locations for a marquee in the grounds, two adjacent to the Great Hall and the other positioned on the formal lawn with the up-lit Queen Anne part of the house providing you and your guests with a stunning and romantic backdrop.
