Milwards Wedding Venue is a Grade 11 listed house, which you have exclusive use, set in the countryside surrounded by the Sussex Downs and local villages of East Sussex with accomodation available locally.
Surrounded by 150 acres of organic grass meadows and a stunning 5 acre lake, the country surroundings provide the perfect setting for your big day . To make the most of these views, you can hold a drinks and canapé reception on the terrace overlooking the stunning grounds.
The Entrance Hall has a historic charm boasting original features such as the wood beams, vaulted ceiling, stained glass window and sweeping staircase.
The Coach House is licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 60 seated guests .The Ceremony room with its barn features of vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, combined with the light allowed from the large French doors, creates a stunning ceremony space.
The large gardens wrap around the terrace with well established lawns gently sloping to the lake. There is a large circular koi pond with fountain for welcome drinks to be served.There is a beautiful rose bed and rose arbour, herbaceous borders and a multitude of trees and ornamental trees in clusters positioned around the park like lawns.
The lakeside marquee is fully lined and has a solid carpeted floor with seating for up to 150 of your friends and family, its own licensed bar and up-to-date sound and lighting equipment with dance floor for a fabulous reception.Live bands are welcome. All tables and chairs are included in the venue hire as are the glasses for each place setting.
Catering can be arranged through our own recommended caterer or you can choose one of your own.
