Weddings The idyllic racecourse grounds along with the modern venue spaces mean Chelmsford City Racecourse is the ideal location for your wedding reception. For more intimate receptions, the panoramic Club Restaurant and Lounge can seat up to 100 guests, whereas the downstairs Fairwood Suite is available for up to 500.
Wedding guests can enjoy drinks overlooking the finishing line while the bride and groom have their photographs taken by the picturesque lake or elegant stables. Ample car parking space is available to welcome guests arriving from the ceremony and our creative team will be on hand to assist with any preparation questions. With a range of versatile spaces, the racecourse allows for smaller board meetings for 30 people, right up to conferences for 400 delegates. Multiple break-out spaces are available and can even hold two large conferences simultaneously within the one hospitality suite.
