CHARM AND ELEGANCE Our main function room known as The Baronial Hall, was built in 1606. Constructed out of light oak original ships timbers, now considered by many to be one of the finest examples of a Tudor/Jacobean Barn.
2019 AWARD WINNER FOR THE BEST COUNTRYSIDE WEDDING VENUE IN BRITAIN
The Baronial Suite comprises of ‘The Baronial Hall’, Ryder Ceremony Room, dedicated kitchens and fully stocked integral bar. The Venue has a unique charm and has become one of the most popular Function Barns in the country.
The Baronial Hall is fully air conditioned and temperature controlled.
To enhance the classic effect of our distinctive venue, we acquired a Rosewood Floor from County Hall, Westminster Bridge, London. It was laid in County Hall 130 years prior to us acquiring it. It is laid in the original style, set in bitumen, we are told that we have one of the rarest wood block floors in the United Kingdom.
The Halls history is truly unique, perfect for all special occasions. The main chandeliers are replicated from that period and add a sense of grandeur. The Baronial Hall underwent extensive refurbishment and improvements in 1995. The walls were reconstructed with modern thermal materials, which makes the acoustics values similar to a recording studio, it also allows us to temperature control the hall.
