The Waterfront is a newly refurbished venue in Dovercourt, Essex, located directly on the seafront. With its stunning sea views and spacious function venue, it really is the perfect location for your event.
We host all of our wedding receptions and events in our purpose-built, air conditioned function venue, named Sally’s. The venue is brand new and constructed with the customer in mind completely. With a huge bar spanning the width of the hall, high ceilings and a unique glass-front exterior, there is truly no other venue like this in the area, whether it be for a birthday party, family occasion or corporate event.
The space is very versatile, with flexible choices for table and seating plans. We can cater for up to 100 guests for a sit down meal, with capacity for up to 200 total guests for more casual events, with buffet and entertainment facilities. Our hall boasts a state of the art light and sound system, 66 square feet of dance floor and a stage, with our in-house DJ also available upon request. There is also the option for smaller functions to simply use a smaller part of the hall for more intimate gatherings, for example a wake or christening, that is suitable for up to 50 persons. This area is curtained off from the main hall and dancefloor, but still comes fully equipped with bar and toilets.
