Set in the magnificent Hertfordshire countryside, our seventy acre estate, showcasing Moore’s iconic sculpture, makes us one of the region’s most distinctive wedding venues.
Our 16th century, traditionally timbered Aisled Barn is decorated with unique Moore tapestries, and is set amongst our beautiful sculpture gardens, which provide the perfect backdrop for your special day. For more intimate celebrations, we can also offer two contemporary spaces in our newly redeveloped visitor centre, Dane Tree House. These sleek, modern rooms have stunning, panoramic views over the gardens and are ideal for a summer evening reception.
At the Henry Moore Foundation we offer dedicated in-house wedding planning for your day. We know that your wedding is as special and unique as our venue, so our event planner Jules, is on hand before and during your wedding, to ensure your day is perfect and no detail is overlooked.
Our venue hire includes exclusive use of the Aisled Barn or Dane Tree House event room and shared use of our gardens and grounds with our visitors. Both venues are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and can be transformed into atmospheric settings for wedding breakfasts and evening receptions. The barn can accomodate up to 120 guests for a wedding ceremony or reception.
If you hire the Aisled Barn you can really make the most of our stunning grounds with a dramatic marquee or tipi, providing extra space for your wedding breakfast and evening dancing.
With vast experience in wedding catering, our partner caterer Franko at Perry Green Events & Catering, will work closely with you to provide a tailored menu for your guests to savour.
