The Grade II* listed mansion house provides a calm and gracious environment - the ideal setting for weddings, corporate meetings, away-days and events, concerts, theatre and special occasions.
At Charlton Park the emphasis is on providing a personal touch with close attention to detail. Each event we host is tailor-made to suit the requirements of our clients. A range of educational and recreational classes is also run on a regular basis.
Photography and Film Location: Charlton Park offers a broad range of filming and photographic opportunities both in the house and parkland and is easily accessible from the A2 south of Canterbury.
Charlton Park offers 3 distinct options for your wedding reception: our magnificent Regency Ballroom, the Period Drawing Room or several options for a Marquee on the lawns.
Ballroom Receptions The first floor Regency Ballroom was added to the house in the early nineteenth century to enable the visiting Prince Regent to dance there with his mistress Lady Conyngham. Happily the Ballroom can now accommodate rather more than just two people and a chamber orchestra, as the floor has been strengthened! Seated meals for up to 80 people, 60 guests for dinner dances or 100 for a canapés reception can be offered. The Ballroom is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 100 people.
Drawing Room Receptions Delightful panelled room on the ground floor full of natural light accessed via the Hall. The Drawing Room is suitable for small intimate receptions for up to 40 people and can be linked with the Hall for a larger reception.
Marquee Receptions The lawns surrounding Charlton Place provide a beautiful location for a marquee. Charlton Park uses the services of a preferred marquee hire company - Best In Tents - and we are happy to provide further details.

Most popular for Away days and Countryside conferences, we offer bespoke entertainment options, delicious catering and the absolute tranquillity to focus or unwind.
We have 3 rooms which cater for groups of all sizes up to around 100. Catering is offered from tea breaks to 3 course dinners. The extensive grounds are also available for team exercises, outdoor teas or simply as the perfect spot for contemplation during Summer months.
