THEATRE AVAILABILITY Our Theatre is set in the beautiful and historic town of Stamford, Lincolnshire. We are available for hire for amateur, community and professional shows. It is also the ideal venue for corporate training days, conferences and marketing events. We have 5 additional rooms available for break away groups to carryout individual activities, including the hire of the theatre during daytime events. We also hire the Theatre Lounge for private events for up to 200 people. Full catering can also be provided.
Back stage the theatre consists of 1 star's dressing room, 2 large dressing rooms, 1 small dressing room, a scenery dock and a make-up studio. The stars dressing room includes washing facilities. There is an active intercom system to contact the dressing rooms from the wings of the stage. This can also act as a prompt or cue devise for the performers.
ROOMS FOR HIRE The Theatre Lounge can host a variety of evening and weekend events for up to 200 guest. Our quirky venue, set within the victorian arches of the Corn Exchange, makes the perfect function space for private parties, wedding receptions, funeral receptions, school proms, anniversaries, corporate events, agms and evening dinners. With the creative expertise of our in-house events team, the space can be transformed to meet a range of bespoke requirements.
The Green Room offers a self contained area with toilet and kitchen facilities. This room can accommodate up to 50 to 60 people. It is ideal for meetings, rehearsals and one day events. This room as its own entrance door from the passage way from silver lane.
CATERING All your catering requests can be accommodated by our in-house chef and bar staff. This includes morning and afternoon teas, sit down or buffet-style events and evening drinks/dinners.
