Situated in the heart of west London and within easy reach by both rail and road, we’re delighted to welcome you to Gunnersbury Park.
Set in 72 hectares of beautiful parkland, Gunnersbury’s history dates back to the 11th century when it belonged to the Bishop of London. The estate has notable significance having been owned by both Princess Amelia, daughter of King George II, in the 18th century and Baron Lionel de Rothschild and his family until 1925. Traces of its history can still be found in the landscape, planting and surviving buildings.
Following a £21m restoration completed in 2018, Gunnersbury Park is now host to an exciting combination of stunning historic venues and contemporary facilities. Whether you are looking for an intimate ceremony or a standing reception in the stunning glass Orangery, full scale dining within the magnificent Rothschild Rooms in the House or a combination of all three, Gunnersbury Park is an elegant and distinctive setting - a unique space for your wedding celebrations.
Here at Gunnersbury Park, we understand that planning your wedding day is both exciting and daunting and our dedicated, professional team is on hand to take your dreams and help turn them into reality. Working alongside some of London’s most experienced, creative and wonderful suppliers, we’re confident that we can provide you with the perfect location to celebrate the official start of your life together.
From the magical beauty of the Orangery to the majestic magnificence of Gunnersbury Park House itself, you have the rare chance to enjoy any one of these venues either on their own or as an outstanding combination.
The doors of Gunnersbury Park House and the Orangery are open all year round on certain days of the week so, whether you’re looking to celebrate surrounded by the fresh blossoms of spring, in the glorious summer sunshine, amongst the rich colours of autumn or the bright, crisp frost of winter, the ever-changing beauty of our parkland and water features will provide a backdrop for cherished photos and memories to last a lifetime.
Each venue is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships and the team at Hounslow Registry Office will be delighted to help with the arrangements for your legal marriage. Following on from your ceremony, reception drinks and canapés can be enjoyed on the terrace or by the Orangery in front of the Horseshoe Pond. These stunning outside spaces will give your guests plenty of opportunity to enjoy the views whilst you and your photographer explore the grounds.
Finish your special day by dining in style courtesy of one of our incredible caterers and then party the night away with music and dancing in the Orangery (80 guests) or across the 3 interlinking Rothschild Rooms in the House (180 guests).
We look forward to welcoming you and your guests to a jewel in the West London crown and to helping make your day unforgettable.
