Commissioned in the early 18th Century, Hawksmoor’s breath-taking masterpiece is a celebrated historic building and a truly inspiring venue.
As the central part of the church, the magnificent Nave is a versatile event space that exudes grandeur with clerestory windows, mezzanine galleries and a central hall accented with Tuscan columns.
An impressive glass entrance leads from the Vestibule to the historic oak-panelled Nave where Hawksmoor’s bold symmetrical design adds impact to the striking ceiling of flowers, each one unique. Columns provide natural divisions and unique versatility. Lit by chandeliers and steeped in history this grand space is an unforgettable location for banqueting and special occasions and a stunning backdrop for photography and filming.
The Nave hosts up to 270 for seated dining and 600 for standing receptions and works equally well with smaller numbers. Features include two mezzanine galleries and a separate meeting room.
