The Clarendon Hotel is comprised of a row of eighteenth century residences, originally built for City merchants and seafarers. Today, it is what many people consider the finest Georgian hotel in south-east London.
The Clarendon Hotel has been in the ownership of the O’Donnell family for over 52 years and the family love of Maritime Greenwich is reflected in some of the names of the public rooms. The Meridian Restaurant, named after the Prime Meridian of the World, located at the Royal Observatory in nearby Greenwich Park. The main bar is named after navigational charts used by sailors to navigate the globe.
The Clarendon Hotel is situated at the top of Blackheath Village, one of London’s last remaining villages. The hotel has commanding views across the open grassland or heath to Royal Greenwich Park.

Wedding packages available from £625 (10). Couples may retire to our main bar area after or hire a larger room for an evening party.
The Regency Suite Special for 20-50 Guests. Our Regency Suite offers a patio lounge and bar area, allowing couples to spend quality time with their family and friends. Wedding packages from £1,250 (20). Minimum 15 guests. After your wedding meal, the Regency is ideal for an evening party.
The Meridian & Westcombe Park Suite Grand weddings for 40-150 Guests. Start your day with arrival drinks and photos in our garden, followed by your wedding meal. Wedding packages for 50 guests with a evening buffet start from as little as £4,000. Your wedding meal can be followed by an evening party in our Westcombe Park Suite for up to 200 guests.
