Located in leafy West Dulwich, our landmark tavern is ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, business lunches, product receptions as well as wonderful weddings. Spread over two floors, The Rosendale’s bar and restaurant are downstairs, each of them perfect for more informal events, where individual areas can be reserved. Upstairs are two stunning private rooms, The East Room and The West Room, which are ideal for larger celebrations whilst our side garden is available for al fresco parties if the weather is kind.

We’ve two beautiful private rooms, a handsome bar, sophisticated dining room, three outstanding gardens and even our own wedding license allowing you to enjoy your big day from start to finish. We serve simple, seasonal and sustainable food, as well as excellent ales, award-winning wines and innovative cocktails.
If you’d like help with other elements of your wedding, such as flowers, entertainment and photography, please do ask as we would be delighted to help you create the big day you have always dreamt of. We host up to fifty wedding receptions every year so be assured you are in good hands.
The lovingly restored East Room, with its refined, luxurious decor, is the ideal space for an intimate wedding ceremony. It can hold up to 40 people standing or 20-plus seated. It can also be used in conjunction with the West Room, for which it provides an excellent welcome area for a cocktail and canapé reception for example.
The grand West Room is bursting with original charm and elegant architecture. Ideal for a traditional reception for 100 seated, it can also host 160 guests standing. For the all-important speeches and party, there are a Bose sound system, 2 metre projector screen and free WiFi.
The Side gardens are available for use, making it the perfect wedding venue if the weather is kind. Guests can adjourn before or after the meal. Alternatively, have some garden wedding photos taken outdoors.
