There can be few settings equal to the Tithe Barn situated in the grounds of Meols Hall, Southport's Historical Manor House, in Churchtown dating back to the 12th Century. The exclusive use of our 400 year old Tithe Barn and original cobbled courtyard for an outdoor drinks reception makes it a wonderful venue for a summer wedding. Winter wedding receptions are held in candlelight creating a unique ambience in the Tithe Barn.
Weddings are organised to individual requirements and you are allowed to bring in your own wine and champagne for the daytime reception without a corkage charge. There are full bar facilities available for the evening party. Our local butcher often brings in a hog roast for the evening party in the courtyard.
A host of photographic opportunities are available including our popular bridge situated at the back of Meols Hall. Springtime is particularly special for photographs as we have a carpet of crocus followed by a host of golden daffodils on the front lawn of Meols Hall.
Helicopter landings are available and also free overnight parking.
