The Ritz originally opened its doors on the 11th March 1935 opening as a cinema showcasing various movies throughout the next 65 years, until its closure in 1999. The building became derelict and in need of much attention.
Originally from Burton Upon Trent and having visited the Ritz many times throughout our childhood we decided to bring life back into this Grade II listed building and keeping as close to the original Ritz Opera House as we could.
The Original Opera house has been restored with all the original Art deco styling brought back to life making it a spectacular venue to celebrate your special day.
The Venue is now available to hire to host wedding functions, Private parties, Business functions or even host your own events. We can cater for smaller events up to 100 guests in our smaller suite which has its own private bar or for larger events we have grand hall which can cater up to 850 Guest. The grand hall also has its own bar, Stage and even mood lighting and chandeliers to create the perfect atmosphere
