A 1001-year-old Grade 1 listed Manor House on the edge of the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Great Tangley Manor is a truly historic venue in Surrey with luxurious accommodation. The Manor is a large private residence which is available for exclusive use, with accommodation for up to 12 guests over five bedrooms, and provides a beautiful environment for special events for up to 40 daytime guests.
Our extensive Victorian gardens set in three acres of grounds are fully maintained and offer the perfect escape from the stresses of day to day life. We provide seclusion and tranquility within easy reach of excellent local amenities and less than an hour from London.
Weddings The 16th Century Caryl room, seating a maximum of 16, is carpeted in rich red reflected in the dark oak panelling reputedly from the ships of the Spanish Armada. There is also an area that was formerly the chapel in the time of Charles I. Etched signatures dating back to 1633 can be found on the diamond leaded windows including King George V and Queen Mary visit in 1913.
The newly styled Marix room, seating a maximum of 16, is decorated in neutral colours with a vaulted ceiling and large chandelier. This room has a light parquet wood floor and four sets of French doors providing great natural light.
Both rooms have access from both sides with wheelchair ramps available upon request. Both rooms are also equipped with music systems allowing you to play your own selection.

The 16th Century dining room, which can seat 16, is decorated in rich, glowing colours that are reflected in the panelling reputed to come from ships of the Spanish Armada. There is a bar room with wine fridge and an area that was the chapel in the time of Charles I.
The kitchen of walnut and stainless steel is well-equipped and has a large architectural glass box dining area seating 10 which overlooks the courtyard with its pond and fountains.
The courtyard has a table, chairs and gas barbeque. Our caterers can also provide an excellent range of outdoor options from hog roasts to more traditional barbeques.
