GG’s Yard is an exclusive use venue located on a private estate in the most stunning surroundings, overlooking the Solway Coast. The venue offers couples the opportunity to get married on a stunning sandy beach, in the heather covered hillside, or in the incredible GG’s Yard building, which seats 200 and can host up to 350 for evening receptions.
The building itself has been erected around a 250 year old barn with many of it’s original features including stonework and wooden beams. It is enveloped in a classic contemporary finish, offering couples a stunning venue suitable for styling to suit any taste. GG’s Yard has been proudly named after our Granny who is now at 97, Great Granny to eleven little treasures (some now not so little!). Known as 'GG’ to the children, Granny is a phenomenal asset to the family. She has passed on exceptional life values to her off-spring who, with pride and care continue to fulfil her exemplary standards.
Functions, Events & Conferencing GG’s Yard hosts business events and private functions as well as weddings, catering for functions from 10 to 300 people in one of our many function spaces. From corporate events incorporating activities at Laggan Outdoor, to family celebrations, we can work with you to create your ideal event.
