The Venue Bolesworth Castle is a Grade 2* Listed Period property located at the heart of the rural Bolesworth Estate, 8 miles South of Chester directly adjacent to the A41 Chester to Whitchurch road. The venue is 50 minutes drive from both Manchester and Liverpool Airports, and a half hour drive from Crewe Station, with hourly trains directly to London Euston with a journey time of only 90 minutes.
Events & Festivals The venue is suitable for promoters looking to organise large scale events, with a license for up to 25,000 visitors. We have a proven track record having been the venue for Carfest North for the last 5 years. Facilities include hard standing for parking up to 400 HGVS, and 500 cars, an internal road network, and a 2.5km tarmac circuit which incorporates a route through the showground, and around the Castle.
Equestrian All Weather Arenas The venue also hosts International Equestrian events, and has permanent infrastructure in the form of All weather sand arenas. The Main Arena is amphitheatre style and dimensions are 102m x 62m. Additional Arenas measure 80 x 60m, 50 x 25m, 60 x 60m.
Marquee for Corporate/Private Hire We have a permanent marquee for hire adjacent to our Main International Arena with a capacity for up to 450 seated guests. We have our own in house bars, and preferred catering suppliers, along with a list of preferred contractors for all other infrastructure. Our in house team can also facilitate the booking of all entertainment including Live Bands, DJs, Multi talented performers, and a bespoke list of party ideas.
Christmas Parties Our marquee is available from late November through till Christmas Eve for Christmas parties - exclusive hire is available up to a capacity of 450 people.
Brand Activation Our in house team can facilitate brand activation and event production on or offsite, including design and creative.
